I just learned that Petra means "Big Rock"
what an appropriate name for a band
Anyone know if they are still together?
15 years ago or so, I traveled with my youth group to 6 flags st louis to see them perform

I always wonder about bands staying retired, I know Petra had a long run, and it seems only been out of things for a year or two, but I'll bet they will return, all great bands seem to come back at some point

I had lost touch with Petra, I saw them years ago
I didn't realize they had retired, and that it was just in 2006, I too will bet that they make a return
