Using contemporary songs in a worship service

Anyone have any ideas for using contemporary songs in a worship service?

I have been to our local biker church, and heard the band do great renditions, heartfelt, and appropriate, of "Midnight Rider" by the Allman Brothers, that to me says almost anything is possible

I'll bet that using contemporary songs in a worship service can expand the reach of people that you will reach, I know that I relate to songs I know, and latch onto them, especially when they are presented in a different arrangement than I am accustomed to

immm , no not really , you can ask in the church they will help you or you can ask someone done it before

I think better you ask the church which is near to you.
They will give you a better idea.

Our church has contemporary praise songs as well as hymns. We pretty much are contemporary but for prayer meetings we go back to hymns. We like Chris Tomlin, Hillsongs, Matt Redman...
