Former Christian Singer Katy Perry
Here's a pretty girl that is influencing young girls and boys through her lyrics and doesn't seem to care that she is promoting things that are totally against God and His Word.
Katy Perry used to be a Christian singer, and has now swung over to the other side. Lyrics of her hit song talk about kissing girls and liking it, she hopes her boyfriend doesn't mind, and on and on..... Her clothing is suggestive, as well, in the video.
This girl needs prayer, as she is leading thousands of innocent children astray. Her target audience is girls around nine years of age.
Parents, if your children are listening to her music, you may think it's innocent when they sing along, but listen closely to the lyrics and you'll be ready to turn off the music in a hurry.
NEW YORK (Billboard) - California singer/songwriter Katy Perry's single "I Kissed a Girl" jumped one place to claim the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart Thursday, sending Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" crashing to No. 6.

After Steve Thomas and Jennifer Knapp signed Perry to their label, Red Hill Records, she released her first CD, Katy Hudson (2001), a Christian gospel album.[2] In her teenage years, Perry found a Queen album with her friend, "and the heavens opened and saved me. From then on, they have been my biggest influence".[3] Also among her musical influences are Heart and Joni Mitchell,[4] as well as Paul Simon, King Crimson, Meshuggah, Whitechapel, John Cage, Cattle Decapitation, Slayer, AC/DC, Alanis Morissette and Wesley Willis[citation needed].
